About Discover Wauwatosa
ART 64 is hosted by Discover Wauwatosa. Wauwatosa is located immediately west of Milwaukee, and is a part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. It is named after the Potawatomi Chief Wauwataesie and the Potawatomi word for firefly.
The great thing about Wauwatosa is that there is always a great deal going on. But that can make it challenging when it comes to planning a trip — where to begin? Worry not, as we're here to help you find your ultimate Wauwatosa experience, from lodging and food to events and activities.
ART 64 isn’t Wauwatosa’s first or only exploration of art.
Check out the Magic Murals while you’re in town, an eight-part mural art installation that can be seen along the North Avenue corridor in the North Mural Arts District, also known as “NoMAD.”
Visit Our Troll in Firefly Grove Park
Thomas Dambo, a Danish artist who uses recycled materials to make masterpieces, created another spectacular and one-of-a-kind troll, featured in Wauwatosa’s Firefly Grove Park.
On your way into the heart of Firefly Grove Park, a sweet troll is waiting to meet you. Giant repurposed lamp posts light the way, although a few have gone missing...Mama Rosa will happily give you a whiff of her flowers, although they might not smell as good as you thought they would!
